Sand Hills We’re traveling through the Sandhills (There are lots of windmills) I don’t know why they named them sand That part should be banned Because they're just as green As all of the other grasses I have ever seen We should say “These are the Grass Hills of Nebraska So very different from Alaska So if you ever go there you will see lots of cattle All peaceful and without a battle You’ll see the grass sway As you have every other day So someday travel to the Sandhills See some grass and windmills © 2005 www.NebraskaUnexpected.com
