Freedom Fest

Little known event in North Omaha.  We have been living here quite a few years and had no idea this even existed.  Wish I had more photos but what the photos don't tell I will try to tell in commentary.

Ok, this is just an RC helicopter (approx 3 ft in length) but if you look behind you will see part of the preparations for one of the longest fireworks shows in Nebraska.  The fireworks start at approximately 10:00 PM and last an hour.  These aren't small bottle rockets and flares....THIS THING IS HUGE...We parked about a mile away and still the fireworks filled the sky...

Ok, again this is just the same helicopter as above, but that is just because I couldn't capture the RC jet that screamed by at 200+ mph.
